My decision to study Traditional Medicine was a product of my own journey for self-healing. I had a Traumatic Brain Injury from a car accident back in 2009 which caused me many medical conditions that I am still working to improve. The knowledge I acquired about healing with food and herbs have played a big role in gaining control over my conditions for the past years.
My connection with food goes beyond my studies. I worked as a cook for many years and consider cooking one of my biggest passions. This love and connection to food took me to travel around the world learning traditional cuisines and understanding the power of food and cooking as a therapeutic tool for medical conditions.
